Retail Services Manager
With a clear view on retail concepts and services
The Job
You will be responsible for an effective approach for the retail activities in Europe.
You contribute to the formulation and implementation of the 1-2-year plans, sales & marketing policies and guidelines.
You consult with other department managers and with the Managing Director, in order to focus activities for the years to come.
You facilitate the necessary means within the company’s retail customers having as an end goal a good representation in the market and increase of the turnover.
You ensure further development of the retail services & concepts range (e.g. B2B sales & information channel & educational trainings, materials & programs) based upon worldwide market requirements and standards.
You coordinate and develop the sales services & concept activities in Europe together with Sales- and Marketing Managers.
You collect and analyze market information about customers, competitors and retailing in general.
Your objective will be to obtain a clear picture of the market and the trends and give an indication of future developments and direction.
Shimano asks
Thinking and acting at Bachelor level, obtained by education or working experience.
A customer oriented approach and you are focused on team achievement.
Two to five years of relevant experience in the international retail sector.
A minimum of two years of experience in a managerial position.
Excellent English language skills, both verbally and in writing. Any other language skills are considered as a benefit.
Cross cultural communication skills and a flexible and service minded attitude.
Basic knowledge of MS-Office, and statistical analysis ability are required.
Willing to travel on an irregular basis throughout Europe.
